What We Believe

Statement of Faith

Dromos is a Christian ministry. Its identity, mission, and governance are shaped by the historic Christian faith as expressed in the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed. What follows is what we believe.

Scripture

We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, our first and final authority, sufficient and trustworthy for faith and for all of life.

The Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, perfect in love, holiness, and truth.

Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His incarnation and virgin birth, His sinless life, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His coming again in glory.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and giver of life, who spoke by the prophets, who inspired the Scriptures, who indwells all who trust in Christ, and who alone forms them into the likeness of Jesus.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and that all who trust in Him are reconciled to God, indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and called into the life of the Church.

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, sent into the world to bear witness in word and life to the kingdom of God, and that every follower of Jesus is called to whole-life discipleship in the ordinary places of work, family, and community.

The Renewal of All Things

We believe in the final return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the renewal of all things under His reign.
