Why Dromos Basketball

Basketball shapes more than a game.

Every practice builds habits. Every coach leaves a mark. Every season shapes who an athlete is becoming.

Dromos Basketball exists to partner with families by making one of the most influential environments in a child's life, the basketball court, an intentional place of discipleship, character, and athletic excellence. Instead of chasing one-off camps, we offer ongoing training where growth on the court and growth in faith go together, so your child is equipped wherever they play.

·High-level basketball development
·Intentional discipleship
·Small-group coaching
·Long-term athlete development
·Coaches who invest beyond the game
The six phrases we coach by
Tap any phrase to see what anchors it

Because the goal isn't simply better basketball players. It's people who walk with God and live out their calling long after their playing days are over.

02
The Program

One training. Ninety minutes.

Every session at Dromos Basketball is one full training: ninety minutes that every player gets, everything included. It breaks down into thirty minutes of spiritual training and a full hour of basketball training, both done with excellence. Both point the same direction: challenging every player to grow in character and to live out the God-given design already in them.

30 minutes · Off the court

Spiritual Training

Led by a coach whose whole job is this half hour. Plain teaching about Jesus, built around the six phrases we coach by, challenging players to grow in who God designed them to be. Nobody is put on the spot: no child is ever required to pray, answer, or profess anything.

60 minutes · On the court

Basketball Training

Led by a basketball coach. Small groups, real coaching, real reps, real development. The same six phrases show up here too: excellence isn't just talked about in the classroom, it's trained on the floor.

Two coaches, one training, one message. The spiritual-training coach and the on-court coach carry the same message across the whole evening, pouring into each player, challenging them and coming alongside them as a player and as a person.

03
Athletic Development

Excellence is built intentionally.

Dromos Basketball develops athletes through fifteen core areas of basketball development, taught progressively across three stages.

Foundation

Grades 4–5

Learn the fundamentals of the game while building the foundations of character.

Development

Grades 6–8

Transform basketball skills into basketball decision-making, responsibility, and confidence.

Refinement

Grades 9–12

Master your craft while learning to lead from the inside out.

04
Spiritual Formation

Faith isn't added to basketball. It's woven into it.

Every practice makes room to grow in:

·Identity in Christ
·Character under pressure
·Leadership
·Accountability
·Servanthood
·Faith lived out in competition

The goal is for athletes to know their identity in Christ apart from basketball, and to faithfully follow Him on and beyond the court.

Meet the Coaches

Coaches who invest beyond the game.

Director, Dromos Basketball

Dave Frasier

I bring 16 years of collegiate, varsity, and high school coaching experience to every session. I'm passionate about developing athletes who pursue excellence while growing in their identity in Christ.

Spiritual Formation Lead & Basketball Coach

Jenna Beverly

I'm here to use basketball as a tool to help young athletes grow in their faith, character, and love for Christ while developing the gifts God has given them on the court. Expect consistency, encouragement, high standards, and a Christ-centered environment where every athlete is challenged to grow as both a basketball player and a follower of Jesus.

Spiritual Formation & Basketball Coach

Marty Hill

As a former Division I player at the University of Evansville with five years of professional experience, I come alongside athletes and families with encouragement, mentorship, and steady relational investment. I want to help young athletes play the game and live their lives through the Holy Spirit, drawing them closer to their dromos as believers in Christ.

Spiritual Formation & Basketball Coach

Charlie Warnes

As a father of three and former college basketball player, I believe basketball is one of God's classrooms for building character, integrity, and faith. I strive to teach truth, pursue excellence, laugh often, and show young athletes that confidence for life's biggest moments isn't built on talent; it's built through preparation, integrity, and a life grounded in Christ.

Questions

Questions parents actually ask.

What is spiritual training, exactly?

Thirty minutes with its own coach, off the court: plain teaching about Jesus that builds identity in Christ, character under pressure, leadership, accountability, and servanthood. Players are poured into and challenged; nobody is put on the spot.

Why two coaches in one night?

It's one training with two parts, and each part deserves someone whose full attention is on it. The coaches carry one consistent message between them, so the classroom and the court reinforce each other.

How many sessions do we sign up for?

A minimum of seven, up to all thirteen over the seven weeks. You'll tell us upfront which nights you can commit to and which time works: $25 per session for the first ten, $10 per session after that.

Will my child be pressured to pray or share their faith?

No. No child is required to pray, answer, or profess anything, and nothing is ever tied to playing time or how they're treated.

What if we're not part of a church?

You're welcome here. The registration form asks nothing your family doesn't want to share.

What happens after I register?

You'll get a confirmation email with waiver and payment details. No payment is collected through the form.
