A basketball community chasing Jesus together.
90 minutes total. 30 minutes spiritual training. 60 minutes on the court. Both done with excellence.
Every practice builds habits. Every coach leaves a mark. Every season shapes who an athlete is becoming.
Dromos Basketball exists to partner with families by making one of the most influential environments in a child's life, the basketball court, an intentional place of discipleship, character, and athletic excellence. Instead of chasing one-off camps, we offer ongoing training where growth on the court and growth in faith go together, so your child is equipped wherever they play.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God."
A player's worth was settled long before tryouts. Kids who know their identity is a gift, not a scoreboard, play free: no performing for love, no unraveling after a bad night.
"Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy."
Growth starts where excuses stop. We practice honest words about a missed assignment, a bad attitude, a hard loss, and we practice receiving those words with grace.
"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
Basketball is a good thing, and it is never the first thing. Players learn to put God first and people next, and find the game gets better for it, not worse.
"Train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way."
Nobody drifts into excellence. A jumper is built one rep at a time, and so are prayer, patience, and courage. We train both on purpose.
"And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus."
Integrity is being one kid, not managing several. The player on the court, in the classroom, in the group chat, and at the dinner table should be the same person.
"Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."
Faithfulness usually looks like presence. God has placed you on this team, in this gym, with these people, so be all the way here.
Because the goal isn't simply better basketball players. It's people who walk with God and live out their calling long after their playing days are over.
Every session at Dromos Basketball is one full training: ninety minutes that every player gets, everything included. It breaks down into thirty minutes of spiritual training and a full hour of basketball training, both done with excellence. Both point the same direction: challenging every player to grow in character and to live out the God-given design already in them.
Led by a coach whose whole job is this half hour. Plain teaching about Jesus, built around the six phrases we coach by, challenging players to grow in who God designed them to be. Nobody is put on the spot: no child is ever required to pray, answer, or profess anything.
Led by a basketball coach. Small groups, real coaching, real reps, real development. The same six phrases show up here too: excellence isn't just talked about in the classroom, it's trained on the floor.
Two coaches, one training, one message. The spiritual-training coach and the on-court coach carry the same message across the whole evening, pouring into each player, challenging them and coming alongside them as a player and as a person.
Dromos Basketball develops athletes through fifteen core areas of basketball development, taught progressively across three stages.
Learn the fundamentals of the game while building the foundations of character.
Transform basketball skills into basketball decision-making, responsibility, and confidence.
Master your craft while learning to lead from the inside out.
Every practice makes room to grow in:
The goal is for athletes to know their identity in Christ apart from basketball, and to faithfully follow Him on and beyond the court.
This conviction runs through everything Dromos does → See the whole pictureEvery session is the full ninety minutes of spiritual training and basketball training, everything included, for $25 per session. Sign up for a minimum of seven sessions, up to all thirteen across the seven weeks. Your first ten sessions are $25 each; after ten, the cost drops to $10 per session.
When you register, you'll tell us upfront which nights you can commit to across the seven weeks, and which session time works for your family, then commit to those nights. If cost is the thing standing between your kid and the season, ask about a scholarship: email Nick at nick@yourdromos.com. Asking is private, every time.
I bring 16 years of collegiate, varsity, and high school coaching experience to every session. I'm passionate about developing athletes who pursue excellence while growing in their identity in Christ.
I'm here to use basketball as a tool to help young athletes grow in their faith, character, and love for Christ while developing the gifts God has given them on the court. Expect consistency, encouragement, high standards, and a Christ-centered environment where every athlete is challenged to grow as both a basketball player and a follower of Jesus.
As a former Division I player at the University of Evansville with five years of professional experience, I come alongside athletes and families with encouragement, mentorship, and steady relational investment. I want to help young athletes play the game and live their lives through the Holy Spirit, drawing them closer to their dromos as believers in Christ.
As a father of three and former college basketball player, I believe basketball is one of God's classrooms for building character, integrity, and faith. I strive to teach truth, pursue excellence, laugh often, and show young athletes that confidence for life's biggest moments isn't built on talent; it's built through preparation, integrity, and a life grounded in Christ.
Screened coaches, open gyms, clear pickup authorization, and plain rules about how adults interact with kids. We wrote the whole thing down so you can read it before you ever hand us your child.
Keeping Your Child Safe at Dromos Basketball →Thirty minutes with its own coach, off the court: plain teaching about Jesus that builds identity in Christ, character under pressure, leadership, accountability, and servanthood. Players are poured into and challenged; nobody is put on the spot.
It's one training with two parts, and each part deserves someone whose full attention is on it. The coaches carry one consistent message between them, so the classroom and the court reinforce each other.
A minimum of seven, up to all thirteen over the seven weeks. You'll tell us upfront which nights you can commit to and which time works: $25 per session for the first ten, $10 per session after that.
